Joe's Kid
Some time between Monday and today some lowdown scallywags stole my boat. I kept it in my neighbors yard two doors down the block because I have a six foot fence and no garage. I live in South Minneapolis (probably not for long). It was lifted over his 4 foot fence after they cut the lock on the chain. It's a 14 ft. Alumacraft. The top half and bench seats are painted OD green. No trailer or motor, but they may have put it on a trailer and may have a motor on it now. I hadn't gotten around to putting the new registration decal on it because I haven't gotten out in it this year(too much overtime, but that's another story). Hopefully these morons are out on a lake with the '05 sticker on it and will get spotted by a CO and arrested. The registration # is MN 7551 JQ . Please jot it down and put it in your tackle box or wallet so you can call 911 if you see it. If you'd rather sink the turds, go for it.(Just kidding. Call the authorities and let them do it.) It isn't anything fancy, but I always had a good time in it.

MJBo
Make sure you check hsolist and let the local boat dealers know someone might be trying to sell it to them. Sorry bout the bad luck.
IFallsRon
I worked with a guy who lived in S. Minneapolis in one of the houses retrofitted because of airport noise. Someone went into his garage and hauled off his Harley. The next time he saw the bike it was misc. parts. The thiefs were eventually caught. His best move was to spend the insurance check on a boat. Good luck finding your boat.
cold one sd
When they are caught, the best thing would be to tack his sack to the seat with roofing nails, hand him a dull and rusty knife and pull the plug.
nofishfisherman
I think i would just choose to go down with the ship. Some things just aren't an option.

Joe's Kid
Roofing nails, check. Rusty knife, check. ROTFL ! I spent a day cruising the scrap yards and they told me they won't accept a boat without a title. I'm not counting on all of them to be Boy Scouts, though. Is Aluminum really $1.50 in Hudson? It's $.70 here. Maybe i'll have to take my beer cans to Hudson Thanks for the suggestions and a much needed bit of humor.
