Monster Rainy Lake Norhtern email

Has anyone else received an email of a 44 pound northern? It is supposedly 54 inches long. I got no other info in the email beside this and the picture.

I just received an email showing a 1000+ pound sturgeon that was supposedly caught in Lake Of The Woods. I'm sure it's a picture from Washington or something...

go to the muskie/pike board or the photo sharing board both under giant pike and there is a bigger picture of the sturgeon and I believe i read it was actually caught in british columbia?!?

Being that its a white sturgeon and we don't even have them in MN, it'd be tough to catch on LOTW. I think I remember hearing that is was from Oregon.

The sturgeon is from the Fraser River in British Columbia

11' 1" long with a 56" girth. Do a search on Fraser and sturgeon and you'll see some amazing fish!

Just for fun, sent the pike picture to a buddy, his reply : "Looks like Dieter with a Euro fish"!!
