Any Reports?

Biglake, I see by your report you were fishing my all time favorite small mouth and large mouth bait. The Senko has been number one on my list for this the third year I have used it. I always try different presentations based on condition but nothing in three years has been able to knock the Senko from its spot.

What I like about the senko is

-First and foremost simplicity. There is nothing special or pretty about the Senko.

-Next is versitility. You can wacky rig it to trigger the less agressive fish or use in around docks, rocks, stumps, or other structure. If rigged strait up it is 99.9% snag free.

-Finally is fishabitily and productivety. To date I have never not caught a fish when tossing the Senko (cross my fingers) I have found days when the tube, crank, spinner, topwater, or what have you has been more productive but those days are few and far between.

The Senko is like the add for AMEX. Don't leave home with out it !!!!

The negatives are cost and durability. When I go out I always have 3 or 4 bags as each one is usually only good for a fish or two.

I couldnt agree any more!

Senkos have boated a ton of smallies and largies for me too.

For smallies in particular, I have found that if you get a "swing and a miss" from a smallie if you are tossing buzzbaits or spinnerbaits, go back in there with the wacky Senko, and chances are VERY good that fish will take the Senko and close the deal.

Best part is there are knock-offs out there that are $15 for a 100 pack. Thats some cheap entertainment! laugh.gif

Needless to say he was VERY happy. Might just have to do the replica thing... Hmmm... Or do I wait for a 22" grin.gif

Thanks again BLB.

Was out on Sugar lake. Clear water and we got consistent fish in 7 - 9 feet jigs and Senkos in cabbage weeds, we were able to see the weed tops and thats where we started fishing.Bites were coming off the bottom, no savage strikes. Watermelon and Green, some on tubes, Small fish on docks. Was very sunny and bright. Pulled some out of the pads to. On the shady side of the reed edges and bullrushes
