Was ice fishing on Black duck lake on a saturday in april, 3 days later it was over 70 degrees out and less than a week later had the boat in the water.

Glad that I am not the only one that misses the ice! The boat it still tucked in it's winter spot next to the house. I like to fish but I am not going to get the boat out in this stuff... opening weekend or not! Now if it were duck opener I would be ready to go in this nasty weather for sure!!! Did you notice that gas shot up 20 cents a gallon overnight! It's a good thing that there is not an ice opener or they would try to get us as well! Take care and N Joy the Hunt././Jimbo

I feel like a 2nd grader in college classes when i read the open-water forum, I havea donated boat to use and usually no open-water fishing partner, ICE FISHING is what it's all about.
