Down to Earth
Saw a discussion elsewhere that the Vikes are going to new uniforms next season. Here is the picture I came across:
nofishfisherman
The helmet is the only part that is really different. Always makes me nervous when teams start messing with the uniforms. The vikes might not have played well the last few years but the the always looked good. I thought they had one of the better and more classic uniforms in the NFL. Jarrod32
Looks like they just switched the logo on the sleeve with the one on the helmet. I like the jersey...I just hope that they keep the all-white road uniforms, including white pants.
Bryce
KFAN reports this to be an internet hoax.
IFallsRon
They can wear Iowa tuxedoes as long as the skirts they've been sporting for the past 30 years are retired.

slim1
As long as we win games and get to postseason they could wear their pajamas for all I care.
JIvers
If the photo is accurate, I don't care one way or the other about the purple pants. What I wouldn't like is the new helmet design--the horns on the helmet are synonomous with the Minnesota Vikings, and replacing them with the picture of a Viking seems like a slap in the face to tradition. That part of the design reminds me of the old Tampa Bay "Bruce the Festive Happy Interior Decorator Pirate" helmet, or the old New England Patriot "Revolutionary War Soldier snapping a football" helmet, and neither of those mean good football to me. On the other hand, the Denver Broncos and Tampa Bay both won Super Bowls after over-hauling their uniforms, as did the Rams, so if getting rid of the horned helmets is the price to pay for the Lombardi Trophy, I guess I could live with it. jigging wader
I agree, don't touch the helmets, If they do, Exspect multitudes of fans storming Winter Park with torch'es and pitchforks!!!
buzzsaw
Agreed! That helmet bites arse! It reminds me of a busy Wyoming college football team helmet...
