DARK30
I just heard on FOX9 that Bass Pro Shops (might) be interested in a store location at the Mall Of America. Apparently the Mall in Bloomington is going to be expanded they say a store like BPS will make the guys start walking around with shopping bags also Anybody know any details? Dennis Steele
I think this is a bad idea. Now the wife will want to come along to go shopping. She will see what we are actually spending on fishing!

TV BOY
I heard the fox 9 news as well. They said the square footage is almost twice the size of the new Cabela's!
MN Mike
That would be great, I was to the B.P. in Springfield about 10 years ago, awesome to say the least. They are great stores.

DTro
Did anyone read Nick Coleman's tirade about BPS in today's paper. I just wanted to barf. Calling it a "bait shop" and saying how he went to Cabela's one time and came to the conclusion that the only thing it needed was a couple of human heads on the wall to finish it off and how the "bubbafication" of America is ruining it. Yep, Nick you are so much better than everyone else. http://www.startribune.com/357/story/208332.html
Chev_trucks501
DTRO, Nick Coleman, hummm. I've got a few names for him. If he knew or cared about anything about the sporting community he would have wrote differently. I wonder what Cabelas thinks of his article. I just wonder how you could compare Humans to Animals. I Will be canceling my subscription to the Star Trib. What a shame. Chev
katoguy
I am against BP coming into the state. I get away without paying state sales tax now! (mail orders) That would change if a retail store came here.
Valv
I just sent him an email CC to customer service and CC to mgmt that I just cancelled my subscription due to this article. I also send a copy of article to Cabelas management for their review, I believe they do advertise quite a lot on StarTrib.I guess coleman won't get much attention through media but through his own management. This is a typical case of media nonsense printed just to attract reactions thus attention.
