My first solo trip coyote hunting.

I went out tonight in search of a coyote. I took my Winchester X-150 ML. I set up near the corner of our property and started calling with an old fawn/doe deer call my Grandpa gave me.

I called for about 45 seconds and sat for about two minutes. Then I saw something moving along the fenceline. As it came close I saw it was a red fox! I slowly raised up and I think it saw me because it stopped and looked at me. I squeezed off the round and it dropped right where it stood. Now maybe we won't be losing so many chickens any more.

I was thinking it would be cool to get it mounted. But on the side you cant see in the picture theres a hole about the size of paperplate. We are getting it tanned.
