What pro would you fish one day with?

That and every fish is a NICE WALLEYE until they get it in the boat or on the ice. I've also stole his "grab the Frabill" line which I use all the time.

Doug Stange. He thinks like I do, and he's a quiet man. If I ever have to fish within earshot of Gillespie, I'm staying home. Can't stand that guy's show. Last thing I want when I'm fishing is someone guffawing at the top of his lungs. If I want that, I can go to a hockey game. Or to Ocean World, where I can watch trained seals clapping their hands and barking over their fish.

Ahhh, Jose the Spanish Fly would be a good one, yes I agree. Never thought of saltwater. For that, I'd pick Flip Pallot, the guy who does Walker's Cay Chronicles on the tube.

I think it would be great to join the "Blue Collar Comedy Tour" guys in their boat that they were in at the beginning of the movie. I know they aren't fishing pros but they are comedy pros and I think it would be hilarious to hang out with them.

I would also give most anything to fish with my Grandpa one more time, not so much for the fishing but to hear some WWII stories again. He gave me the best fishing memories I have and is the reason I fish to begin with. That makes him a pro in my mind.

With no doubt, I would select Gary Roach. Not only would he put you on fish, but can you imagine the amount of walleye fishing knowledge you would gain.

Gunflint I dont know how I missed your earlier post but that was funny. I think I would like to fish with Gary Parcens and Keith Kavietz. (I know I had to have killed these names spelling wise) The Glorvigans would be fun as well. Todd Frank could teach me a ton about trolling for eyes on big water. Gary Roach is a baitrigging god. He can backtroll a piece of structure like a surgion.

Lots of guys to learn more from than me Gunflint. But Ill teach ya all I know. You may still know nothing when Im done though.

All these guys are great choices. I had the opportunity of a lifetime last july. I had the pleasure of fishing Mille Lacs with Mr.Walleye. Class act, suprisingly human like the rest of us. I brought a friend, that said he's never boated so many eyes in a day! Gary taught me some subtle new live-bait rigging tricks, and also leadcoring & planer-boarding. And oh yeah! Why everyone needs a $3k lowrance.

Next dream trip would probably be Pete Maina! I Still have'nt made it to 10,000 casts!

My number one pick would be Gary Roach or Al Linder. I fished next to Mr. Walleye on Mille Lacs one time and he was hilarious. He was in a tourney and he told his partner that he wasn't getting any lunch until he actually caught a fish.

I'd fish with Mike Iaconelli. I'd sit back and wait for him to roll around on the deck of the boat yelling and screaming about his latest catch, then I'd roll him overboard and take off. He just needs to shut up for once.

Al Linder-Gary Roach-Babe Winkleman after these three I would have to say I would love to spend sometime on the water with CrappieTom and Matt Johnson and pick their brains and more so just observe their actions and the way they approach panfishing!!!
