Archery Photos

I did not see much for archery photos, so I'll post mine here. This is my first deer with a bow. I shot him early Sunday morning.

Nice buck!!! Great way to start off the season!!! Was it one you had seen before...or just one that was sneaking by?

I had not seen this one before, or any others of any size. He came in early, it was overcast and hard to see. I thought he was a fork when I drew on him the first time and decided not to take him. After sitting down and digging out the binocs I saw the extra horns, then stood up again, drew again, and shot him at 20 yards. Very fun, almost too much build up. He had his head behind a tree during my musical chairs and bow drawing practice.

This bear was shot a few weeks ago by my disabled cousin. He has no use of his right arm, so he draws the bow with his teeth!

CONGRATS! That is a great deer with a bow, especially for your first... I haven't ever shot one with a bow but sure think it will be a blast when it finally happens!

Excellent job on that first deer. Geez, I don't know how you could have second guessed yourself seeing that guy the first time. I would have been shaking so hard I would have just said "we are doing it this time"!

Awesome deer for your first one, mine happened to be a buck also, but it only had nubs. Congrats! Maybe I can put one down this year like that.
