I know Paul already has his Magnum Lodge all "decked" out grin.gif After next weekend I should have a nice trailer/carrying platform (or atleast the start of one) for my Magnum Lodge courtesy of my buddy Paul smirk.gif

Sounds like Gissert and Paul are in. So far so good wink.gifgrin.gif

Good Fishin,

Sounds like a great opportunity to hook up with some ice fishing fanatics in the summer and talk hardwater.

I think you guys know that I'll be there.

My Otter Den & Lodge are both tweaked out. I field tested the Lodge's mods last winter and need to make some improvements. When done, it'll be a bass boat on the ice. grin.gif I'll try to have it altogether by the 'Get-Togther' for some show & tell.

I'm in, im going on a trip July fourth weekend, but anytime after that and before August 15th, after that football starts and I'm to beat by the weekends from 2 a day practice to do anything except sit in my lawn chair or boat and do some easy fishing. O btw I have a Ranger XLT Twin,

got it new for my 16th birthday, it hasn't hit ice yet.

I can bring some 3/4in plywood pallet type things, they can be squared up to I think 38" or something like that, not the greatest, but free, as long as I know before hand, dad can get more at work, I have 9 now...

I would be willing to make it but weekends can be tough. I have a New voyager and while it was nice to have the room, There's too much empty area for things to slide around....I need ideas to make next winter more manageable. Of course most people don't fish solo out of a voyager, but I did and loved it.....I have made no alterations to my ice house so we would be looking at a clean slate...

I would love to do this. I also have a fishtrap voyaguer that I fish solo out of alot. I need ideas for modifications that wont add to much weight so I can lift it into my suv still by my self. What I would like to add is compartment for my bait, vex, and anything else I dont want to slide all over. Also being more organized is a goal, as i have it now everything is just piled into my sled. This will be problematic when i start to tow with a sled of 4 wheeler this winter. As a side note I do have the itch for ice, I spent an hour today looking at augers on the web as an auger will be my major purchase for this winter. Adam

If I can make it work with my schedule, I'm in! I bought a new Otter Mag. Lodge, and just reading about some of the modifications some of you guys have done, I'd really like to see them first-hand. If I know far enough in advance, I'd be willing to use a vacation day to attend. wink.gif

Like Uncle Grump, it would depend on when and where. It would be fun to see the ideas, and perhaps by the end of the day, a bunch of new ideas could materialize. Not to mention meet a bunch of you, putting faces with the names.

Who has a decent size yard and is located somewhere in Central MN? smile.gif Maybe we can all meet on a Saturday or Sunday in August and set-up in someone's yard. A little BBQ too maybe...

I got an e-mail from someone today about this topic, kind of cool to see some response and it's nice to see there are other ice fishing diehards out there smile.gif

One of the things mentioned in the e-mail was about a location. What about having it in the yard of a tackle/bait shop? Or maybe in a park of some sort. If someone has a big enough yard and is willing to offer of restrooms facilities then that would work too. I might be able to set something up in the front lawn of a Gander Mountain or something like that?...

Matt Johnson
