GullGuide
They both now have a quarterback that has one a superbowl...lol.
buzzsaw
You forgot to point out that both of them toss alot of interceptions and are both far inferior to Culpepper. The good thing is that one of them is a back up and the other is a starter! The picture above is when Brett got pounded by the Vikings in the last playoff game of his career! AT LAMBEAU FIELD to boot
muskybuck
You have Culpepper way overated. Johnson will probably be coming in for Cuplpepper when the game hangs on a last minute passing drive. Johnson can think under pressure.

buzzsaw
Okay Muskybuck, you have thourougly confused me on your spelling of Culpepper as well as your statement about having him overrated. Lets see his QB rating last year was #2 to Peyton Manning.... Isn't that a fair way to judge a QB? throw in all those TD's and very few interceptions... especially few in a playoff game against GB in Lambeau! Help me understand your logic. Willy
I'm sure it's just another Dante basher. When are people going to realize he is the best quarterback the vikings have ever had. (other than Fran the man) It's always, he can't win the big game, or he can't think> Please, Dante is a stud and now that we might have something that at least resembles a defense, it's gonna be fun! muskybuck
So sorry about the spelling boys. I know how that bothers your sensitive natures. I say wait and see about Johnson. I think that was a pretty good move bringing him on board.

kentuck_ike
Farve didn't win those superbowls by himself. He had a lot of talented players around him. Just about any quaterback could have looked good in that situation.

kentuck_ike
Actually Gullguide I am a die hard vikings fan. I just get tired of hearing about how Brett the god won the superbowl. most people forget that they had an entire team.
SlaPPy
at least they have had a TEAM that has won it. and no single player has or ever will win a superbowl by them self.
buzzsaw
Slappy doesn't need to post where he's from, as it's obvious.
FishRulerHookEM
vikings suck, they have the worst coach and have worst defense and worst kickers and punters. Packers suck but way better then vikqueens because they have a qb that can not afraid to get hit and a ok running back. There defense sucks though. Go Panthers!!! SlaPPy
just saying not a vikings fan. just like you not a pack fan don't take it so personal.
fishyguy
Slappy, I did not take your post personally but my response would have been similar to Riverrat's. I may be making a assumption here but I believe what he was saying is that most of us have stuck with the Vikes through thick and thin and don't really need anybody else to join us when things are looking up for the Vikes. The Dome and my basement will still be full of the same people for the games this year as last and whether we go 16-0 or 0-16 and those people will really not care whether you "feel like being Vikes fan" or not. By the way, is that like "not feeling like mowing the lawn" or "not feeling like going to work"
