Roosters sparring - pics

Something I have never seen before. I took these pics on Saturday morning, it was fun to watch these roosters. Anyone else seen this, or am I the only one who hasn't until this day??

A few years ago on a trip in South Dakota we saw this happen. It was about 11:30 and we were all standing by the trucks getting ready for the hunt, mainly standing around talk'ing. We were right next to the field that we were about to hunt. All of the sudden we hear cackling and cawing like noises.....so we are watching and up pops a couple roosters going at it. They popped up a few times and then dissapeared......Nothing like seeing a cock fight right before your about to hunt the same field. I knew it was going to be a good day!!

I've seen roosters fighting in the springtime, usually early in the morning on the way into work. Sometimes they're oblivious to your truck, but other times they take off running.

Saw that once down in Iowa. The one came up out of the roadside ditch while the other stood on the road. They went at it for about 5 minutes. Came back to that spot the next day got 6 outta that ditch with 4guys and 2 dogs in about an hour.
