Genofish
When i was up at LOW last week i noticed most of the guides had LED head lamps attatched to the brim of their baseball hats. Does anyone know where to get these lights??
huckleberry
Try REI located in Roseville or any other camping store.
Zemp
Garrity makes a great one, I got it for Christmas. It has a high and low setting, plus a flasher setting. One really nice thing about it is it takes two watch type batteries, so it is more compact than the AA or AAA battery models. You can buy them at places like Home Depot, Lowes, and I would expect the major sporting goods stores would have them too.Hope that helps~
msm1018
I think the one you are talking about, is the petzl one, I think I have seen them at gander, I was using my $12 headlamp tonight, it has 3 settings, one white led 2 red led's, which I have found great for night fishing, since it shines the most light onto my gear. then a regular flashlight one thats very concentrated, I like the versatility and its great for walking to my deer stand. best part is, its hands free, and for 12 bucks, great deal! Ryan_V
you can get them almost anywhere, I got mine from sportsmans warehouse, seen them at cabelas, gander, even wal-mart. pretty inexpensive and extremely handy!!
syd2nd
Browning makes a variety of headlamps that are quite small and light. They are great for fishing, hunting, and working outside. I don't have to hold the mag light in my mouth any more. Check them out at Gander or Cabellas. They are the only two stores I found that have the Browning. I got a 5 LED lamp that will shine 1, 3, or 5 LEDs at a time. About 30-35 dollars and require three AAA batteries.
Jim Hudson
There is a brand called Cats Eyes, it fits underneath the brim of your hat and I believe has four white LED lights and it runs on the skinny round type batteries, I hear they are good lights but I still use rayovac LED headlamps, two different models and have gotten good use out of each.
