I was going to send out a greeting card to each and everyone of you, got all the cards and stamps and everything was ready to go....and then my danged pen ran out of ink! I brought everything back for a refund, all $95,000.00 worth! grin.gif

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY NEW YEAR TO ALL!

My Christmas won't be as merry as it could be. My #1 son left for Afganistan on Saturday. I guess I'd rather have him there than Iraq. I know he's well trained and knows what he's doing, but deep down, a father always thinks of them as kids. Merry Christmas everybody.

All have a Merry and safe Christmas and New Year. And to you IcehouseBob I would like you to tell your son a huge thank you. Even though I never have served I know what a sacrifice your son and the sons and daughters of others are making to make this world a safer place. A huge salute to all who are and have served to protect what we take far too often for granted. May your son return safe when his tour is over.

To all FM'ers and their family's I wish a Happy and Safe Holiday season

icehousebob, After your son arrives at his post, would you mind emailing his address to me? I have another cyberfriend soldier stationed in Kuwait. Every month I try to send him at least 2 new fishing magazine's and I know he really appreciates it. With your permission, I would like to do the same for your son. I'm proud to say that I am a veteran myself so I know just how much a gesture like this means to a soldier. May God bless and keep him and bring him home safely to you. HOORAH! 1DIRTBALL smile.gif
