Yep, that thick new growth on the lower end of the trees is a dead giveaway.

That and stress producing a ton of seeds, one of the things we will not miss about them, thousands of mini trees popping in the yard.

I said last summer that the next couple years around here will be the "Summer of chainsaws".

Those affected are pretty easy to spot all over the area now.

I've already planted a couple new trees this year.

No, but I will be using a couple of canning jars with NON-RUSTED lids. :)

That is If I'm doing this right, it's all experimental at this point.

 

Peppers are finally starting to really take off.

🤣 social security gave me a raise last Jan.....i got newer ones now!!!!!!!!!!! 👍

Ended up with ten small bottles of habanero sauce.

Planted for color presentation this year, almost too red on the mellower batch. Looked almost fake on tonight's taco's........like fluorescent catsup.

Letting the super hot sauce mellow a tad before sampling.......excluding the in production taste tests.
