Sled project 2.0

Just sold the first sled today, starting working on second old beat up one I picked up. 
I normally don't say much about another man's mechanical work. But, when you have to use an old cut off wheel, cut a wrench in half and use 15lbs of metal from your scrap bin instead of running to town for 3 correct size bolts. You probably shouldn't be pulling kids around with a motorized vehicle!   

The guy used old 4" bolts with all that craap for spacers, instead of the 1 1/4" it should have had!

That's a grinding disc. Iffin id known you needed some I just threw 2 of them away!! that's some good old fashioned engineering right there.

Back on the project after a week in the Black Hills. 

Not sure how this damage even happened in that spot? The guys kids must have been Wolverines!

Making them out of polycarbonate sheets. Really expensive but best stuff in freezing temps.

Yep that's the plan.  She should be on Market Place by the end of the week. $750idy!  It's a lot of work fixing up a 45 year old abused chunk of fiberglass!

 i can relate to that!!!!!!!!! i did get a part time gig......no way though would i ever go back to 40 hours. at most i get 14 hours a week. and they let me go any time i want. cant ask for more then that!!!!!

I will say it was easier to hide from my old boss, my new boss is on my asss 24/7!
