Spring 2020 (so far) [caution, 17 pics]

Lots of running around this spring.  In addition to the egret photos previously posted, I got to experience the snow goose migration,  a heavily drinking eagle, some amazing sunrises, and lots of ducks.

What species of geese are those gray ones with the black stripes on their breasts?

I think they are a Greater White-fronted goose. Here is a pic of one I took in March.

Thanks all for the nice comments.  Yes, I believe they are Greater White Front Geese.  All mixed in with the snow goose migration.  A friend, Jeff Essler from Bismarck, identified six different species last year from the same migration route in one of my photos.  I made a day trip into North Dakota, but all the big flocks I found there had hunters around, so I didn't stop and mess up their hunts.  Most of the geese I found were in a triangle between Breckenridge, Wolverton, and Lawndale all in Minnesota.
