What are some plans you ice-nuts have for this coming ice season? Any "can't miss" trips you take yearly, or any new adventures for this season?

I have to get back up to Canada this winter to take my Arctic Cat on some long runs into the bush for lakers. Nothing better than laying down fresh tracks and not seeing another angler all weekend... Lots of others planned, but that's #1 on my list...

I want to hit Winnipeg for a Greenback and Devils for a Walleye Perch combo trip. Other than that, my usual haunts will be my ice. Okoboji every week at least once and hit the Eyes on SW Mn lakes for some good eats on weeknights! I plan on at least one weekend on Traverse and a long weekend or two on LOTW. Ahhhh I love Ice. I still want to do Gogebic in the UP so I may have to find the time for a Teeter Pig trip too! Can we get another month of ice please?

I will be spending some time in Wisconsin this winter for the W.I.F.L and if I am not there I will be spending alot of time fishing the st. cloud area, The big pond and spending sometime driving on the logging trails by my cabin in walker and find some remote lakes with little pressure. It is going to be a great winter!! smile
