Grindstone / Trout

Anyone headed to Grindstone tomorrow morning for trout? I plan to go up in the morning and give it a try. Good luck to everyone headed out for trout.

Mother-in-Law passed away a week ago so going to miss the Opener this year.  Hopefully the Ice is good on some of these deep Trout lake already? Good Luck.

Sorry for loss leech, hopefully later in the season you can make it out. I hope to make the opener a yearly event.

Thanks guys, she was 82 and having a bad time. It was her time to go. 

Sorry for high jacking the thread minky. 

Back on topic. Give us a report if you go and be safe that lake seems to take a long time to ice over.

No problem leech,

the fishing was slow when I talked to other anglers,

I was not as prepared as I should of been and it showed, no fish for me.

I did enjoy myself and plan a return trip during the week.

North end of the lake had more water / slush on top of the ice then the South end.

most of the travel was on foot or wheeler and a few brave souls in trucks.
