Ribs Done Right!

Now these boys have got it down. Was at the Nisswa Rib contest this past weekend and one of our relatives team "Pit Happens" took the Peoples choice trophy again and also won last week in Deer River as well. These young guys really work hard at it all day and started their own catering bizz. 

I'm the old guy full of ribs on the far left by their trailer.

My wife and I stopped in there on Saturday but we were way too early to eat any ribs so we had a couple drinks at the Main Street Ale house and left.

Leech a buddy of mine was cooking there as well. Big bald guy that is right around 6'6". Have not seen anything on FB on where he placed or if he did.

yeah I guess I messed up by not heading into Nisswa to give the ribs a taste!!  Looks good though and making my mouth water!!!  I know what we are having this weekend...

There were about 20-25 teams smoking so without their banner name it would be hard to guess who he was.  I did try about 10 of the contestants ribs and most were pretty darn good.  I've always said if you walked in to a restaurant and eat any of them by their selves you would probably think they were the best you ever had.  Good thing I'm not a judge or I would be handing out Trophies to anyone that gave me ribs!
