I smoked a bunch of chicken legs for a party once. Got the nicest smoke ring just under the skin and I was pretty proud of how they turned out. You wouldn't believe how many people took one bite and then stopped in their tracks...they mistook the pink ring for "uncooked." Geez, people...ever seen white meat next to the bone and pink near the surface? Lol. More for me, I guess.

Amber colored eggs have been going in my gut for 30 years. Never saw an orange one.

smoked a dozen eggs the other day, cut 2 of them in 1/2..  worked OK..

here's the question, someone asked did I cut them in half before smoking them and no I did not I said.  that got me wondering if any one here has cut them first before smoking them???

 

might have to try a few that next time just to see....   

I tried once but it leaked all over after I cut through the shell.
