Teeth

Sort of food related. Any of you guys ever get dental work done in a foreign land? I am suffering from serious sticker shock after finding out what implants would cost me here. I'm looking at all options at this point.

I have not, although I have eyeballed the ads in San Diego while in the region.  Looks like about 1/4 the american price.  And you can take the train to the border...

Search on tijuana dental implants and take a look.  

Or shop around in the twin cities.   A buddy from Rochester got his done in Minneapolis cheaper and was happy.   Not cheap, but cheaper...

Tell me about it I go in a week to get all teeth extracted and upper & lower plates and it's going to be $9,000. I looked at implants and I nearly fainted, they cost more than my car

I had one implant a few years ago.   Whatever it cost my buddy said that just one tooth and implant is a little less that two breast implants he paid for

We did research on this for my dad and even looked at dental schools.  If think the foreign idea may be the ticket.

For a moment I got a chuckle thinking that you talked your dad out of the dental work and into a breast implant!
