I don't know about that, but they have them all over Brooklyn Park and up to Andover, Monticello, Buffalo, and Albertville. Must not be the Hennepin county tax thing either as they have gone along the west and north sides of it, but they haven't hit the heart of the metro (yet). RebelSS
You can't expect me to catch everything when I'm half asleep, ya know. Hijack alerts, once initiated, cannot be taken back, just like a tornado siren warning, however, to make yer day easier and better for you..... ***WHOOP***WHOOP*** This has been a test, and only a test, of the Thread Hijack Alert System. (THAS) Had it been actual, you would have been notified of the perpetrator. You may now return to your thread. leechlake

Just gotta be careful they don't lose their dentures when they poke their head in the window or scratch it with their walkers. leechlake

Which usually does the trick, because the folks behind me are all laughing. Scratch off guy might pizz me off more than checkbook lady. Especially the guy who buys them, won't move and starts scratching. A few years back I ran into a small c-store in south Minneapolis. I only needed one item (can't remember what it was). As soon as I get to the counter a woman cuts right in front of me. She pulls out a one gallon ziplock of pennies, nickels and dimes. Pours out the whole bag and starts counting while telling the cashier which scratch offs she wants. She appeared to be under the influence of something other than alcohol or weed. Getanet
Speaking of slow checkouts, do you guys have the updated credit or debit cards with the new secure chip technology so you have to insert the card instead of swiping it? Talk about slow. Sit there for what seems like 20 minutes while it works to approve the transaction, and once it does there is a horrible sound to indicate you can remove the card - sounds like an alarm telling you that you have 10 seconds to get out of the store before everything explodes. That alarm is probably needed as you're likely to fall asleep waiting for your transaction to be approved. Dotch
delcecchi
The sound varies from place to place. Walmart's sounds like Boar and Smurf and Rebel having a simultaneous belch off. Boar
