We dropped the kids off at my mom & dads for an overnight and hit up a couple of new local Breweries/Taprooms; U4IC (Euphoric) in Blakeley and Montgomery Brewing in Montgomery.  Both really enjoyable.  U4IC is brand new, hasn't even had a grand opening yet, so their selection was limited to 3 brews, but tasty, nonetheless.  REALLY impressed with Montgomery Brewing.  They've been open for about a year, now.  They have 7 great craft beers on-tap and an awesome taproom.  Cant say enough good things about their whole experience.

To top it off, they have a new Pizza joint called Pizzeria 201just down the street from the Taproom - OUTSTANDING! I love it when small towns have great small businesses open-up.  Pretty unassuming for little Montgomery. before the brewery and pizza place all they had to hand their hat on were Kolackys!

 

Almost forgot - RH1, I'm making your stuffed chicken thighs for supper tonight, might try a twist and put some cold smoke on them for an hour or two before putting them in the oven (if I have the time). I'll post pics on that thread if successful.

Just sent my wife off shopping so I can get this ready for V-Day dinner tonight. She got the card and Roses already but doen't know why I was all for her going shopping. That may have tipped her off already? :(

 

bobberineye's, just noticed your counter tops. We are looking at the same one right now as a replacement.

Oh sorry for highjacking the threat, wait, does it matter? :P
