Looks good!!I never seem to have any corn left over to do that. I plant several times and it lets us harvest over a longer period of time, trouble is all of my relatives know where to go to get fresh corn, of course when they bring steak for the grill it is hard to say no...

I'm fortunate enough to have married into a big crop farming family. We have direct-from-the field sweetcorn all year.  Great stuff!

Eyeguy, it will be my turn doing it this weekend.  A few years ago I got a tip to use a bundt pan, that and an electric knife = good life and lots of good eats.

ya know i had some neighbors that had a decorning tool, after blancing they put the cob on a nail that was thru a board, so its upright and wont move then they took this thing tha had a ring in the center and handles on either side of it and they just pushed down in on swipe all corn gone, slicker than snot.

nice idea with the bundt pan  next year will do that. will use my handy dandy rapala tho. I still have not crossed over to the electric dark side

I'll probably skip the bundt pan. I like lottsa corn in the big bowl.
