my 2015 bear hunt

What an enjoyable experience this years hunt was.  Basically had heavy action from the beginning.   My 3 year old son and nephews helped me bait.  Multiple times bears were on bait when we arrived and kids got to see them.  I was unaware but another hunter was baiting a quarter mile from me and he shot the hog the first day.  I wasn't able to hunt till Thursday.   I sat all day Thursday and saw 1 bear that I passed on at 2 pm.  Friday my first bear came in at 9:30 am and I passed on him.  At 11:15 am a respectable but not massive boar came in which I harvested.  Good luck to all.

Congrats on the success and for taking the kids along, but I gotta say, I've never bear hunted ANYWHERE that I could get to in my tennis shoes. Must be a very special place.
