Rip_Some_Lip
Tom, your garden looks great. I attempted to start a garden this year. It is about 15' x 30' and I tried planting with seeds. I planted about a dozen different perennials but didn't have much success with germination. I have a lot of weeds growing and some flowers I think although they are small so not sure yet. Did you start with seeds or plants? I have been patient so far but am thinking of starting over with plants. I think I had a good layout plan and kept the seed bed moist the best I could the first month but not much luck. Where is a good nursery to order plants? I planted the following: Bee Balm, Columbine, Delphinium, Coreopsis - Lance-Leaf, Liatris Spicata, Royal Red Catchfly, Butterfly Weed, Joe Pye Weed, Purple Coneflower, Rocky Mountain Penstemon, Cardinal Flower and Heliopsis.I would appreciate any tips you may have. I would really like to get this garden established. Thanks.
Tom Sawyer
Tom, your garden looks great. Did you start with seeds or plants? I would appreciate any tips you may have. I would really like to get this garden established. Thanks. Thanks, but it doesn't happen overnight. I have been developing my garden for 40 years and continue to do so every year. Adding new plants, or altering design is always part of the enjoyment of gardening. The flowers are both in separate areas of my yard, and bordering my vegetable garden. Everything was planted by seed in beds, (specific to seedlings needs), and then transplanted the following year to their final spot in the garden. Would like to help with any questions you may have.......... fire away, or just PM me. This variety of Bee Balm just started to bloom yesterday.......... eyeguy 54
