tcwin
Just curious if any of you home brewers have heard of a growler pouch. Imagine a juice pouch that holds 64 ounces. If you have used them how hard was it to clean and sanitize?I was thinking this might be a good way to take some home brew into BWCA and reduce breakage.Appreciate any insight you might have. Thanks

What is the exact wording of the no cans and bottles rule?
bobbymalone
The exact wording of the rule is: "Cans and glass bottles are not allowed." Pretty straightforward.
tcwin
Here is a picture of the "growler pouch". It is supposed to keep craft beer fresher because of no exposure to air, or sunlight. It is also re-usable and my main question was about cleaning them; I just mentioned the BWCA thing as sometimes it would be nice to have a sip or two while there. If I wanted to take beer into BWCA I would buy a six of 20 oz pepsi or 16 oz miller and dispose of the contents one way or another. Then refill with beverage of choice. But then I am one of those old cheap guys. Or is it cheap old guys?
mainbutter
Oxyclean and warm water does wonders for a no-scrub clean on my brewing buckets, I bet it'd be fine for those pouches. That's all you gotta find, is a reliable way to have a no-scrub cleaning. Thorough rinsing and not letting anything dry and collect on the walls is also a good idea.
