First off its no super quality by any means, but we enjoy taping our hunts.

Been fairly tough hunting as they are pretty quiet here at the moment and not really interested in decoys, but we got in done yesterday about noon.

Worked for me, both were what i would say two year olds with 9+ beards.

Brother shot the first one, and I hate to say it but i miss judged the second bird the first shot. But made the adjustment. Both were around 30yds.

They didn't want anything to do with the jake and hen decoy on the oppisite side of the blind and choose to strut/eat on the oppisite side.

My brother shot the blind the weekend before and I will post that also, better footage as well. enjoy

Two birds often come in much more aggressively (make it a race?, more confident when not alone?) and if one is shot, the other often risks no time in letting the downed bird know how he truly feels. As smart as they can be, they can sure be "dummied" by that easy target. If the bird is missed - they all usually are gone in a heartbeat.

I have had them rip up my dead bird. I once killed a two year old gobbler and three jakes came running in cutting and yelping up a storm. My hunting partner was hunting separate and about a half mile away. He could not see it and could not imagine what was going on. I finally had to walk out there to get them to stop tearing up my bird.

For you that have seen my video from last year, it was the same exact spot and had three jakes come and thump my gobbler last year.

There is not a ton of pressure on turkeys where I hunt so they are not as smart as some birds I have hunted. This year there has been getting to be a fair amount of hunters and it has changed things alittle.

We figured that we would get both if we shot the first one, but I had my eye on a bigger bird, but it was an easy target and I was ready to fling an arrow or two as in this case.

Turkeys seem to be best of friends until someone gets shot and then they take advantage of them.
