McGurk
Dammit! Alton Brown has brought us yet another way to cook and peel a bunch of eggs. Damp towel directly on the oven rack, eggs on the towel, 30 minutes at 320 degrees, and into an ice water bath. Also a nifty trick on peeling. Crack the hot eggs before the ice water bath! Whodathunkit? (No egg poking was involved in this video...)

McGurk
I will give it a shot! Can the eggs be fresh? No clue, but doesn't say that they couldn't be. Report back with your findings!

delcecchi
And if they go a little over they could explode. Ever have to clean an exploded potato out of the oven? I bet egg would be worse.
bobbymalone
And if they go a little over they could explode. Ever have to clean an exploded potato out of the oven? I bet egg would be worse. In high school we used to pull this prank of popping raw eggs into the microwave of people throwing parties while their parents were out of town. 45 seconds later and there would be a huge mess.Total jake ace move, sure. We always got a good laugh out of it.
