My PC is on its way out, but I also have an Ipad. Anybody make the permanent switch and only use an ipad for everything? My biggest concern is no way to file share without using the cloud, skydrive, or some other "magic" system.

Thanks

I'm big on cloud storage now. I use Google drive and I rarely store anything on my computer anymore. I like being able to access my files on any devise that has an internet connection.

I'm thinking my next computer might be a Chromebook.

My PC with XP was on it's way out too and I wasn't ready to go to ipad only. I picked up a new Dell Inspiron from Bestbuy with Windows 8.1 for 299.99. Cheap and it is working great.

Thought about a laptop, but we keep our desktop running 365 days a year in our office at home, so thought a desktop was a better fit for us. We use an external hard drive for the storage of our important docs and picutres, however most pictures are on Shutterfly servers too.
