Powerstroke
FIrst time out this year my recoil locked up and wouldn't rewind the recoil cord. I live in the SW corner of the metro so I got on the strikemaster HSOforum and found a repair shop near me. I had heard about H2O Outfitter's in Big Lake and how great they are, but I felt it was too far to drive, just for a recoil. I chose the local shop and dropped off my auger, Dec 10th!!!! They said no problem and ordered a new recoil assembly for me. They called just before Christmas and said it would be ready around New Years. I was ok with that. Well, that came and went and no repair and no phone call. Fast forward to today (6 weeks later), I called and they said the part was unavilable until Feb15th. I called H2O outfitters in Big Lake and they said they had all the parts needed to fix my recoil no matter what it needed. I picked up my auger from the other shop and drove to Big Lake. I handed them my auger and he took it in the back. He said he could fix it. I said great. The guy at the counter helped a couple other customers, while I waited to fill out the repair order. Instead, I heard an auger fire up in the shop area. I peeked around the corner and they were fixing MY AUGER! After waiting 6 weeks to get my auger fixed, H2O repaired my auger in 15-20 minutes and I paid less than I planned on at the other shop. These guys are fantastic! If you need a Strikemaster repaired, these are the best guys in the business. You can drop by the shop or ship it to them. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!! Thanks to those to who told me to call them. You were right.

Powerstroke
I'll say it it again, AWESOME SERVICE!You don't hear that too often anymore and it seems like more outdoor products are being made like throw-away items. I'm glad to see there is a shop around that supports what we do and keeps the customer first. I didn't see a grumpy face from anyone while I was there. fsnrod
Is H2O in big lake the same strikemaster repair center as when strikemaster owned it?
ozzie
he shares the same parking lot with the old strikemaster building but not in the same building. Tim and his staff are a pleasure to work with and lucky for me after he fixed my boat motor and my auger I haven't had to return!!! Can't say that about strikemaster even when they were open!! H2O is a great local company!!!
