Help lift the spearing ban in Wisconsin

I started a petition online to help open the entire state up for darkhouse pike spearing. It's currently banned on all inland waters and is allowed on Chequamegon bay and Green Bay but that's all.

Let's help this sport grow instead of fade away. Please sign the petition and share it with your friends.

State of Wisconsin : Lift the ban on dark house spearing for northern pike on inland waters.

Thanks for all the support everyone, In just the few days it's been up it's already reiceved over 100 signatures, let's keep the ball rolling and share this with as many people as possible. I think if spearing were an option for people in Wisconsin there would be a lot of people who would love to try the sport. I know MDAA has been trying to get this to happen but I think there needs to be evidence (like this petition) that people are for the sport, let's push for as many signatures as we can.

I signed it too. I'm from SD so i dont know if it will count but it shows my support.

We got spearing for pike on all inland lakes legalized last winter and it is very nice. What sucks is i cant seem to go spear in other states but anyone out of state can come here to spear!

I say if you buy a non resident fishing license you should be able to do it.
