Walking WR typical?

I agree. Looks like maybe 6-9" deducts for stickers and some, not much, for symmetry.

Kind of looks like a younger deer, dare I say a 3 year old.

Doesn't look fully mature to me either, but I'd be surprised if he's any younger than 4. I'm sure he's lost some weight the past month.

Yep very possible and probably more likely than a 3 year, body just doesn't look that big but it could be the crazy big rack making him look like a younger deer.

He looks bigger in the first pic body wise I'll bet he went a week straight on hs feet recently.

Love all the veg in his rack on the last pic... We shall name him Butkus... Like sod in a face mask! Tough guys don't pull it out!

I love seeing pictures like this but does anyone else think that whomever is getting these pics is crazy to post them anywhere? I just can't see anything good coming out of doing that given the lengths some people might go to in order to harvest that deer.

I can't even imagine what my nerves would be like if that thing got anywhere near me.

I understand wanting to share your excitement, but I'm guessing he regrets posting now. People now know his name, location, etc from all the social media circus on this deer.

OH gun season is over. It's looking like this deer may survive...

Land values just tripled for 5 square miles... I heard people were paying 20k-30k an acre to have a crack at the Albia buck in Iowa a few years ago....
