sticknstring
This was posted yesterday from southern Ohio. Estimates are in the 230" gross typical. Could be the one that dethrones Milo!
mrklean
The sides look identical at least from the two pics there

Bear55
He's a contender that is for sure, doesn't look super old either so room to grow.
96trigger
That is a beautiful animal. I love the symmetry.
rbs
Wow is a understatement! But the only way to de-throne is to kill it! Good luck on him Ohio!
PropsterII
I agree. Looks like maybe 6-9" deducts for stickers and some, not much, for symmetry.
Coach1310
Lets hope this story has a good end to it.... Great buck!
hugonian1
Got to have a sore neck holding that rack up all day long.Unbelievable buck.
sticknstring
Still walking... supposedly. A few more pics... more abnormals than originally thought, but a top 5 typical, nonetheless.
Bear55
Kind of looks like a younger deer, dare I say a 3 year old.
sticknstring
Doesn't look fully mature to me either, but I'd be surprised if he's any younger than 4. I'm sure he's lost some weight the past month.
Bear55
Yep very possible and probably more likely than a 3 year, body just doesn't look that big but it could be the crazy big rack making him look like a younger deer.
LABS4ME
He looks bigger in the first pic body wise I'll bet he went a week straight on hs feet recently. Love all the veg in his rack on the last pic... We shall name him Butkus... Like sod in a face mask! Tough guys don't pull it out!Good Luck!Ken

nbadger23
I love seeing pictures like this but does anyone else think that whomever is getting these pics is crazy to post them anywhere? I just can't see anything good coming out of doing that given the lengths some people might go to in order to harvest that deer.I can't even imagine what my nerves would be like if that thing got anywhere near me. Greenhornet84
That's what i was thinking if you talk about a big buck everyone's already coming around to see if they can get a look. what's your neighborhood look like when you say ya got a WR in the back
sticknstring
I understand wanting to share your excitement, but I'm guessing he regrets posting now. People now know his name, location, etc from all the social media circus on this deer. OH gun season is over. It's looking like this deer may survive... LABS4ME
Land values just tripled for 5 square miles... I heard people were paying 20k-30k an acre to have a crack at the Albia buck in Iowa a few years ago....Good Luck!Ken
