Big boy road kill :(

A good buddy of mine owns a rental property with 9 wooded acres that butts up to Elm Creek and has been hunting it hard all year. He's passed on some nice bucks this year, and when a giant 15 pt showed up on his cam on his food plot a few days ago, he was excited to say the least! Yesterday his tenant sent him this pic. It was hit right in front of the house. Needless to say, he was BUMMED!!!

Friend knows the kid that hit it. He hit it with his car on the way to work and is planning on getting a shoulder mount I guess

When I lived and hunted around that area I would see some really big deer and that is a biggun.

I'm slightly surprised there wasn't much damage or so it seems, excellent deer, I like seeing older bucks like that 1, kept hearing smaller racks this year etc yet I'm not seeing many great bucks or large sized bucks that seem to be less in the antler area. It is so freaky when unprepared and any deer runs out on ya, especially one like that 1.

High 170's or better all day. I would not be surprised if he's into the 180's with that mass, and that number of points.

I'd wager that high as well, ITN. There's a lot of points, and a whole lotta mass all over those beams! Cool buck. Really a heart breaker someone couldn't have tagged him while hunting.
