just getting around to posting, he hunted in season C. couldn't be more proud he made a awesome shot at about 8 yrds. 21# 1.5" and 1.25" hooks, and Triple Beard 10", 9.25", and 5".

Just asking I do Not know. But how does the crossbow thing work? You can use them for Turkey but not Deer or was this in another state? Again not trying to start up a how big-to-do! Just asking to learn. Thanks. smile

leech. With a turkey license, unless you have a specific "archery" tag, they don't really care what type of weapon you choose to hunt with.

Leech, I was told by our local CO, after he stopped to check me and my bird this spring, that a turkey license is just a turkey license, unless you buy the archery tag, any legal weapon(per regs no rifle) can be used.

Knowing I am a archery hunter as well he was suprised that i didn't carry my bow. I wasn't aware until then I could carry two different weapons to the blind. Next year I will bring the bow with and see if I can get one with in range. If not I will have the firearm to seal the deal.
