NO AMMO! IM Gunna CRY!

Recommended Posts

Well Mr, Big Business does it again! Now he doesn't even have to pass a law, just cause a lot of fear that he's going to and everyone runs out and cleans out the stores. That causes a shortage which the big companies take advantage of by charging us more. So, again the rich get richer and the middle class pays more! shocked

Seems like his plan of promising to make the 1% pay to the poor and middle class paid off to get him elected now he can let his real friends cash in! Good plan! smirk

On a brighter note...I have not noticed any shortage of common HP big game rifle caliber ammo or upland game shotshells on the shelves in the local area...

I sure wouldnt bank on that lasting with all the insanity going on at this point.....

just an FYI....Mills has a pro gun shop in Brainerd. They got a great supply of ammo in all calibers. Even have 22 long rifle too. Great prices, not inflated. Limited to 250 ends per day, per person. Check it out!

leave some for the other guys...dont buy it all!

Is that the new place they were working on across the road were the old Bowl was at? I wonder how long Gander will stay open with that there? Most the time that I have gone into Gander up there theres hardly anyone in the store.

I do not need any but I have seen alot of 300 and 7mm ammo on the shelves. If one is concerned about high power ammo, just buy it now while you can get it. The prices seem to have gone up the last year or so but it is still out there for now anyways.

I got a few boxes of 40's from Reed last Saturday and they still had some on Tuesday. They put a limit of 3 boxes per costumer but it sounded like that was not being enforced for target ammo. We are going to the gun show today in Bemidji so this should prove to be an interesting day. I've gotta see just how stupid everyone is getting.

Ammo is comming in almost every other day in the big retailers around here. You just have to be there at the right time or call so they can hold a box for you. Scheels had a pallet of .223 ultramax come in 2 days ago but now its gone of course. All you have to do is call 2 times a day. Once at around noon and again around 3 or 4. Im pretty sure i have enough of the hard to get stuff to last me a few years. And no i dont think the zombies are comming. I just like to have ammo for when i want to shoot. And if i waited till the week before i needed some they probably wouldnt have any. LOL. Scheels prices have not gone up too bad except on .22 shells.

After looking at the shelves, I'm tempted to sell my .22 and buy a .17 HMR. From what I've seen around here, ammo selections are still limited.

Carver FF has waterfowl and turkey rounds but not much of anything else.

For those that have a .308, one local retailer in the area has a fair amount of 7.62 x 51mm, Brazilian vintage. It's an option, for a NATO round alternative to shoot through the .308. .308 rounds are scarce right now, as some of you already know.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
