SkunkedAgain
There seems to be a new issue for politicians to get upset about regarding the Vikings stadium. Dayton is up in arms about the possibility of the Vikings charging Personal Seat Licenses to season ticket holders, and the prospect of playing international games. Both issues are expressly allowed in the legislation for the new stadium but Dayton says he will block the stadium to prevent in from becoming "a stadium for the rich."I applaud his effort in general, but since he and the legislature agreed to the stadium language it seems crazy to change their minds. The only thing that I can think of is that the Vikings QB sneaked the language back into the final version of the bill, the governor and legislature didn't notice, and now it passed. Otherwise I don't know how you can go back on your word.

Snag
There should be a new term. You have been Zygied! You have also been duped on the pull tabs and overall duped on the Twins stadium and the gophers don't seem to be recruiting much better and can't even get students to go to games. I feel better now. They are Bowl Qualified.

Scott M
Dayton's nuts, business is business, if you don't spell it out in writing they are going to soak the fans. It's 2012, not 1912.
RumRiverRat
Dayton is a complete clown.A stadium for the rich, what a joke. He agreed to the wording of the bill, this is allowed.Dayton can go pound sand.
Getanet
I don't know who's crazier, Dayton for complaining about this now, or whoever originally came up with the idea of PSLs. I guess the guy/gal who came up with the PSL idea is crazy like a fox. Could you imagine the first person they told this to? "OK, here's the deal, we're going to charge someone thousands of dollars for the opportunity to pay us even more money for their season tickets." Getanet
I know. But it must have been really hard to keep a straight face the first time they told someone about their idea.Sort of like it must be hard for Dayton to keep a straight face when he suddenly seems like he had no idea the Vikes might consider PSLs. BartmanMN
So if you pay this PSL do you get a Rental fee if someone else sits in it for another event? He77, I'm putting a bicycle lock across my seat if I'm dropping that much dough to license it!
LMITOUT
Dayton's nuts, business is business, if you don't spell it out in writing they are going to soak the fans. It's 2012, not 1912. They did spell it out and Dayton was the one that pushed the deal. Now he's trying to act like he's looking out for the little people.Complete hypocrite and fraud. PurpleFloyd
How did Dayton think that a Billion dollar stadium was going to be paid for? Does he think everyone has a family trust fund in South Dakota that they can draw from every time they need money?I can't believe anyone could be so naive as to think they could build a stadium with the same seating capacity as the last one, take on a billion dollars in additional debt and get off the NFL subsidy line and not have a ticket cost more.
