I wonder if the bears like the smell of cigars?

I assume you hunt state land. Do you just cut up some down trees to cover the bait? Had an argument with the future father-in-law about sawing some wood up. He said it is illegal. I told him nobody is really going to care if you arent taking the wood with.

So what does everyone do? Haul in some private wood? I thought that was illegal to bring in wood that isnt sold by a DNR approved vendor. I didnt plan on cutting any trees down. I was going to cut up something already laying on the ground.

I think you can cut dead fall not down live trees

All of those baits are on private land. As for public land I find dead trees or downed trees and drag them to the bait with a rope and my wheeler.

Vote has been Lynx so far. Even asked a DNR critter guy and he thinks Lynx.

Today I had these guys! Not sure as I have no idea who they may be and why the one guy was on the back side of private property...clowns.

Now to get it back in the Otter in the bottom of a ditch...stupid cameras caught me at my finest.
