prime rib

Recommended Posts

I cooked up some prime rib for lunch today at work. Two roasts one was 8 3/4 and the other was 12 lbs. Took about 3 hours for the smaller one and another half hour for the larger one. Put a mustard rub on it over night.

Makes my stomach growl just looking at it!!!

I need to tackle doing a prime rib some day. Learned to like it years ago helping with some pheasant banquets down in Douglas, they always served great, hot, juicy prime rib but over the years, ordering it in restaurants, I've been mostly disappointed. Most times what you're served is lukewarm bland beef roast.

There aren't many things in this world better than Prime Rib, seasoned and cooked on the grill to the color you got this to. I'm sure you were a hero that day!!
