Rod holders for a canoe?

I'd love to be able to have a system to have a rod holder on each side of the canoe, behind the back seat so I can "paddle troll".

Any suggestions? Perhaps some kind of product that clamps on? I don't know if that is a thing that anyone makes.

Check Austin kayak for canoe accessories. I would think that Scotty or ram would make a clamp system for canoes.

I bought the one from Piragis. You'll have to google it. We've got two of them. I like to place them in front of me so I can watch the rod, but it doesn't interfere with my paddle stroke.

I've trolled for at least 300 miles out of a canoe in the last 12 years, and I've never really felt the need for a rod holder - I just put the butt of the rod behind my heel, and rest the rod in front of the opposite knee. No way it can be pulled out, and I paddle on the opposite side.

But I guess I'm just a cheapskate who's stuck in his ways

I've got Driftmasters on mine, I do like having the rods in front of me for quick access in case of a snag or fish.
