ted4887
Love should be MVP As much as I like Love... I think you're nuts! LBJ is, and deserves to be MVP. Like it or not, he IS the best player on the planet, having one of the greatest seasons ever. That is why Love isn't MVP.
schmitty3
^+1. Lebron is having a great season. He does it on both ends of the floor. I would put Love around 4th as far as MVP's go. Right behind Lebron, Kobe, and Durant.

Scott K
Love, MVP? Come on! Look at a list of players that deserve it more, or at least as much as Love. Then tell me Love deserves MVP.LebronDwightDurantWadeChris PaulKobeRoseDirkIf Love can put us into the Championship game, he will be top 3. But there is some stiff competition in the top
mrklean
The mvp is a joke what does it stand for most valuable player. Without love the wolves have 7 wins so far this year at best, Miami without labron still has a good team many of those guys same way. YiGGiN4SLoBS
Love is 4th in scoring and 2nd in rebounding. No one else in the NBA is in the top 5 in more then 1 of the major stat categories. The only 2 guys that u can even argue are ahead of him are Kobe and Lebron... I could maybe hear Durant, but westbrook is 5th in the NBA in scoring on HIS team! But there is some stiff competition in the top 5 Lebron's growing reputation as a 4th quarter choker is the only thing that may keep him from getting the MVP this year. His stats are ridiculous, and he plays on one of the top three teams in the league. Is he the best player? No doubt. The most valuable? Not even in the top three, IMO. SledNeck
Love is more valuable to the wolves than lebron is to the heat. You take lebron out and wade scores moreLove is averaging 2 points per game less than leQuitFROM THE PF POSITION!!!!Kobe is more worthy of MVP than lebron IMOAlthough I think Durant is the best player in the NBA, he's not as valuable to his team as love is to the wolves
mrklean
They should change it from mvp to best player in basketball award
Storm
In my opinion the major thing hurting Love is that he averages just under two assists per game. Yes lebron only averages two points more than him but also is a great passer. Even though lebron has the better team around him he is a better player than love and the best player in the league. Scott M
Great win for the Wolves. When was the last time it was March and if the playoffs started, they would be in? Tonight that is the case.
muskiemanAD
Big win! If they can sneak in to the playoffs they are going to be a tough out! They match up well with some of the better teams in the west. i would love us to get on a role and get the 6th seed and face the 3rd seeded Clippers! EBass
I wish Marbury would've stayed with KG here. Too bad it didn't work out.Love is da man and Rubio needs to step up a bit. He seems frazzled lately
muskiemanAD
Thats a great cover! I agree, I wish Marbury would have stayed, or better yet we would have never traded Allen for him. That team probably would have won a title.
pikestabber
Interesting fan post I saw on the T'Wolves site:(Last night's) win makes the T'Wolves 9-2 vs. Portland, Houston, Dallas & San Antonio this year. Over the previous four seasons, the T'Wolves were a combined 2-57 versus those teams. That's a telling stat right there. We CAN play with the best teams out there right now. I'm not saying we're hoisting the trophy at the end of the year, but I'm not saying it's impossible or far away, either. We have one of the most exciting young teams in the league and are a piece or two away from serious contention for several years. The famine is over! PierBridge
MVP is the most valuable player of the league not somebody's who's on a crappy team and gets all the shots and stats because his team is average at best. And rightfully so. He could finish as high as 3rd but probably 4th is more realistic if things go well... Lebron, Durant and Rose everbody else this year are pretenders. Rubio and Love Rule the World... Nice~

Scott K
It is going to be a tough game tonight against the Lakers. We never play them good, and the Lakers have lost 2 in a row, and pretty sure they dont want to go 3 in a row, especially against the measely Timberwolves. A win would be great, but I dont see it happening.
schmitty3
We always stuggle against the Lakers, but they have been god awful away from LA this year. It would be a big win for us, before that 7 game road trip.
thatoneguy
Wolves have no answer for Bynum on the inside, and nobody who can guard Gasol. Their best hope is that Kobe continues to try to play the hero, jacking up terrible shot after terrible shot, and goes 7 for 31 like he has been. The Wolves need a 2 guard who can score and a consistent (i.e. NOT Beasley) 6th man, and they're in business. A true center would be nice, but there are so few of them anymore, that might be a tough order to fill.
