That's not too bad. Some places are selling theirs for over $3 a bottle.

Not sure I can do this, but the site we all know of that starts with craig.... someone in there from eagan sells them case of 12 for $24. That's $2 a bottle.

By an adaptopr for the larger tank on your gas grill, it can be a pain taking out the larger tank but it will save you some money. You can get them at GM...

I bought a 10 lb. tank, maybe a 5 lb. would be better. You will save enough $ in one year too buy the tank and then some if you fish a lot. If you go this route get a filter that screws on the stove, the adapter screws onto the filter.

I just picked up a 4-pack at Fleet Farm also. Once the ice gets thicker so I am not pulling the house by hand I will have my buddy heater attached to a 20 lb tank. It gets too spendy running the 1 lb tanks.

Think this might be the person I called a while back. If you look at the pictures of the bottles, different manufacturers bottles-I asked him and they are refills. Not going to get into a peeing contest on refilling, but if you going to buy from him, you might as well fill them yourself.

Yeah. You have a good point there. If I knew they were refills, I would've never mentioned it. Sorry I didn't know.

I was under the assumption that they were mismatches but new.

Well.....the search continues.

I also use the same as you a unregulated hose and a filter. Unit works great. The hose costed me about $35 and filter about $10. The filter will need to be replaced, in the long run you would be better off cost wise with the regulated hose and no need to buy filters. Northern tool has them on their HSOforum.Starting my fourth season! eek
