They tamed Jim down, took the semi hot secretary and made her the frumpy mother of two, got rid of the the manager that could toe the line between a good friend and an obnoxious boss, tried to force second tier characters to the front, and tried off site locations. None of it stuck (but I love me some Creed and Mose) and it just got lame with forced storylines and character development. They would have been better off ending it the exact moment Micheal left, and on a high note.

I agree. There's definitely a pattern of once-popular sitcoms trying to milk it for as much (money) as they can get. Odd plot lines, awkward characters moved to the fore, off-site locations, etc. are what seems to happen in all of these shows.

I am so unattached to the show, I can't even think of characters names, but here goes

It just isn't what it is, the other cast is even being neglected. Stanley and Phyllis getting drunk with Jim the other week was funny.

When has Creed had a great one liner like back in the day, or Stanley? They throw Meredith lines out there but she never was one to make me crack up.

Toby? A shell of the Toby character! His obsession with Pam is all but forgotten, so why not get him to obsess over another female? Maybe the british gal now, but she's annoying. The Toby/Dwight battles, along with Michael were classics

Ryan the temp? (I missed the first couple shows this season, maybe he and Kelli ran off?)

What made the entire show great was the play between the other characters and that has just fizzled out like the show...

Don't get me started on Andy...

And suddenly Dwight has a man crush on Jim???

The show has totally lost direction IMO

Read a blog post that Michael Scott won't be back to end the season, his decision, that he wanted his farewell 2 years ago to be just that. Read that Ryan and Kelly will make farewell appearances before the end of the show. I also read that a former writer is taking over the scripts again after he moved up to the producer role, or something like that, so maybe that will help the creativity/energy in the show

Hate to admit it, but after boycotting it for 2 weeks, i did watch it last night. Nothing spectacular but it is starting to plant the seeds of it going out.

I actually watched this one too, hoping to see more of the Schrute extended family. It did not disappoint, but I heard that this was intended to be the pilot for "The Farm" but was inserted into this run instead. I might give it a shot, ad it seemed to have some heart that the office has been sorely lacking for some time.

is he actually returning for the show or the little Q&A that they have a quick preview on? I thought he said he didnt want to come back? As sad is it is to see it go away its ran its course, the whole Pam and Jim thing makes me sick the only reason i watch is Dwight now since he keeps humor in the show.

Its to bad we only got 1 eppisode of Dwight running the company, its not realistic but it would of been great to have a whole season of it. The way Jim had Dwight act togeather is pricless.

Well its over it was a pretty good ending good seeing Michael Scott come back it wasnt a funny final episode by any means but it was a good ending. Creed had some good ones to end it which is always good.

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
