FOGGING EYE GLASSES

I use contacts whenever possible. I wear the 30 day extended wear lenses that you can sleep in. They are virtually maintenance free...love them. When I take them out I'll where my glasses for a few days to let the ol' eye balls get some fresh air and I hate the fogging issue. Lasik is in my future.

I don't wear glasses but I would put baby shampoo (and wiped off) on my visor when playing hockey. The smell was refreshing and you had the benefit of "No Tears" when it would get wet.

All you're trying to do is reduce surface tension to reduce moisure bead accumulation. I would think some of the anti-fogging agents in the auto parts stores would work too. Call your optomitrist for a recommendation.

I like rain x, but it leaves behind that greasy residue.

If you sprinkle it with a bit of water and then wipe it down, most of that greasy residue goes away. At least it does on my car...

the rain-x folks also make an anti-fog treatment. it's in a black bottle right next to the yellow stuff. never used it though.

A little drop of Dawn Dish Soap. I use this for all of my tactical googles at work, the mask for my breathing apparatus at the Fire Dept and my rifle scopes. Just rub it on the area, let it dry. In a few mins take a soft cloth and buff it, your good to go. I've seen the shaving cream works good too, pretty much the same way as this.
