Walking Dead

That's exactly what I was thinking JB. You're in a zombie apocalypse and you ever know when a rogue gang is gonna try to hit you & you can't keep weapons at your side? No way

I loved the dynamic between the two groups. The ROTC kid thinking he's a BA & little ol' Glenn knocking him on his tail like a boss. I think this was the best episode in a WHILE

They all turned in their "weapons," but they all have knives and Daryl still has his sweet baby crossbow. Did Michonne give up her sword? Also, nice move by Carol fumbling with her rifle as she turned it in, like she didn't know how to handle it. She's a sly one!

So I don't wanna give away any spoilers, but I just read a post on FB that explains the mutilated bodies at Noah's town & what's probably coming up next. If you want to know, Google "Walking Dead Whisperers". Pretty creepy stuff gents

Why would you brace walls from the outside? crazy

Carol becoming a sleeper cell was funny.

I think the girl is a spy as well.

Carl and Carol both telling Rick about the citizens being "weak" has the gears in Rick's head turning. He's just sizing things up, waiting for his group to regain their strength. If the congress critter's spoiled kid along with Ace and Gary are Alexandria's main defense...pftt. Carl can take care of that before breakfast.

Yeah, this community was advertised as being invincible, but when I seen the walls I though terminus and woodbury had way better walls than this place! Glenn and Darryl beating up those guys with ease was pretty cool. Why would they bring a guy with a gimp leg on a supply run? Something is still fishy about this town. But I hope that doesn't alter my theory at all.

we brought dinner! The subtle humor the last couple episodes has had me. Along with last week's "we're going to make it. We're going to make it." next scene the RV is broke down. I think everyone knew that Rick is going to take down the spouse of the lady who did the haircut.

Did I call the Rick (Shane) love triangle or what? He's turning crazy and everything! Might not be the only love triangle in town...Darryl, Aaron, Eric, perhaps? Love is in the air! Carol and that guy in the gun room? I totally thought Abe and Michonne were gonna make out on the porch!

Did Kevin Smith give out a spoiler on the talking dead? Are the wolves that gang I referenced earlier, that Rick was recruited to fight? Or maybe that "w" on the walker wasn't a "w"! Maybe it was an "m", for Morgan! Good times are indeed ahead!

Outcast Daryl enjoys outcast dinner with outcasts; gets a new bike shop! Unsatisfied with destroying communities, Rick sets his sights on becoming a homewrecker, too. Carol cooks up a nightmare just as easily as she can bake a couple dozen oatmeal raisin cookies.

The most non-contrived plotline was Sasha not being able to instantly grasp a comfortable life again. How they don't all have some PTSD, I'll never know.

Rick was sure cozying up to the walker behind the wall. Rick-eo and Zombi-et?

What a weird episode. There were some otherwise interesting parts that were ruined by terrible dialogue. I know they like to have guest writers and guest directors, and that can help a show feel fresh, but it can backfire and lose continuity, too, which is what happened last night (to me, at least). I think everyone is being melded into one character right now and it's just not clicking very well (like all their lines could be interchangeable and you wouldn't know the difference). It feels like the story is being pulled in 8 directions and none of them are all that interesting. I keep seeing the "Best Season Ever" promo clips before every episode but I just don't see any evidence to back that up. I'm starting to think those promos clips are like putting a fresh coat of paint on a car with no engine...as long as we keep saying it's awesome, people will believe it! I thought last week was good and they were maybe turning a corner but this was a big step back, IMO. What are we leading up to? What is the story arc here? Caveman Rick killing a husband to get some strange? Carol offing a little boy to get a spare handgun or two? Just not real impressed right now.

I've not read the comics and haven't looked online for spoilers, I just have that feeling we're being set up for something big for the finale. I like the exploration of a "normal life" and how the characters can't cope with it, that they need that rush of killing walkers to feel normal now. My gut says this Alexandria isn't going to be as normal as it is appearing to be but I couldn't guess either other than just human war for the finale, Alexandria versus Rickville.

Think everyone had Rick picked to take out the husband. Now add Carol and might as well throw Daryl in too just to make sure. Could get ugly but Carol ends up with another messed up kid. Preview hints at Coral completing the stones drop.

Prediction:

Figured Glen was gone tonite. Way too obvious a plot line that Maggie is pregnant and that can't bode well for Glen. When it happens, Maggie will go from now to 5 months pregnant by the end of the episode.

That might have been one of the best episodes of the whole series! If I were Glenn, or even Eugene, I'd have a hard time bringing that guy back to town alive! How in the world has this town survived when it's full of cowards? I don't like Gabriel's chances of surviving past this season eek I think a few more things are going to happen next week to make what he says look like the truth...Daryll and Aaron went on a run, so my guess is something will happen to Aaron, and it'll look like it was Daryll's fault. Good stuff! They got me hooked again!

I agree. I've been hard on this show this season (and with good reason...it's been pretty rough throughout and downright terrible at times), but last night was simply awesome! The first 10 minutes I thought "here we go again," as it seemed like more of the same was coming, but it ramped up from there and was jaw-dropping by the end. Aiden's death was the most gruesome I can remember...until Noah. Whoa! That was brutal! It wasn't just the action that got me (although they packed a ton in there), but the story was good again and not hindered by a bunch of bad dialogue. I thought Tyrese's demise was handled so poorly that I didn't even grieve his loss, but losing Noah, who we have a lot less history with, was shocking and sad due to how much better it was set up. In any event, it was a great episode that leaves me hopeful for a great finale!

    • got this tackled today took about 3 hours to get both sides done. Didnt even get to use a torch....   Thought I was golden with just jacking it up and I could get to everything but no luck. Had to remove the entire axle hub and brake assembly to get to what I needed. Was a pain but still better then taking off the entire pivot arm.    Axle bearings were already greased and in great shape thankfully. Got both leaf springs installed and its ready for the road again.   Probably going to have my electric brakes checked, I am not touching anything with the brake drums. Based on what I saw it doesn't look like my electric brakes have been working anyway. Brakes are nice to have if its slippery out
    • By The way that didn't work either!! Screw it I'll just use the cellular.
    • It’s done automatically.  You might need an actual person to clear that log in stuff up.   Trash your laptop history if you haven’t tried that already.
    • 😂 yea pretty amazing how b o o b i e s gets flagged, but they can't respond or tell me why I  can't get logged in here on my laptop but I can on my cellular  😪
    • I grilled some brats yesterday, maybe next weekend will the next round...
    • You got word censored cuz you said        B o o b ies….. haha.   Yeah, no… grilling is on hiatus for a bit.
    • Chicken mine,  melded in Mccormick poultry seasoning for 24 hours.  Grill will get a break till the frigid temps go away!
    • we had some nice weather yesterday and this conundrum was driving me crazy  so I drove up to the house to take another look. I got a bunch of goodies via ups yesterday (cables,  winch ratchet parts, handles, leaf springs etc).   I wanted to make sure the new leaf springs I got fit. I got everything laid out and ready to go. Will be busy this weekend with kids stuff and too cold to fish anyway, but I will try to get back up there again next weekend and get it done. I don't think it will be bad once I get it lifted up.    For anyone in the google verse, the leaf springs are 4 leafs and measure 25 1/4" eye  to eye per Yetti. I didnt want to pay their markup so just got something else comparable rated for the same weight.   I am a first time wheel house owner, this is all new to me. My house didn't come with any handles for the rear cables? I was told this week by someone in the industry that cordless drills do not have enough brake to lower it slow enough and it can damage the cables and the ratchets in the winches.  I put on a handle last night and it is 100% better than using a drill, unfortatenly I found out the hard way lol and will only use the ICNutz to raise the house now.
