Lowrance h2o power cord

Well, after reading all the problems with the h2o power cord, I thought, boy, am I lucky, mine still works great!! Well, not no more, it's cooked. Anybody have one around they would be willing to part with??

Ha! ours is gone too! Now we just use batts after not being able to find one.

They don't make the power cord any more. I use rechargeable batteries and use the H20 sparingly.

Yep that "must have" gadget don't get used like it should.

Does anyone have a print out of the contacts on the H20?

If so send them to me or post them please and I'll make my own cord.

Last year I called and got a new power cord. They werent being made at that time but they had some. Try Lowrance again otherwise try Marine General in Duluth Russ always seems to have some oldies but goodies laying around.

check some of the fleet supply stores i saw some power cords in the cloquet store last spring

If you need a good cord to use just let me know and you can use mine. I sure one could take a meter and figure out what the pin out is. I thought they only had 3 pins going into the unit.

Jim after I posted it occurred to me that all I had to do it put the meter and on the old cord, look at the pins and I would know what the layout was. Then I remembered I tossed the cord. Should be just two contacts,,positive and negative.

I'll get a hold of you if I can't find a cord closer to home to test.

I would not mind taking a look at a bad one and see if it is a easy fix. I will take a look at mine and see what the true pin out and power today while it still works.

I remember someone posting on here in the past and they claimed it was just a burnt up/broken connection in the cigarette adaptor plug. I wish I had never thrown mine out after reading that.

All the ones that I've seen that were bad, the problem was with the pins in the plug.

I just bought that power cord ST at Prince bait out of Milaca this summer and its because my original went down also the expition went down finally so it time to check into a new one. I think I might just do the smartphone app instead.

I took it apart and the board has a real dark spot. Continuity on the - side but not on the + side. bummer....Just ordered one from the gps store, 45 bucks including shipping. Sucks, but what do you do,.

I have had a few go out but one can still find them.

Lucky for me, I have a friend who reps for Lowrance and he got me a few cords out of his supply.

What a bunch of junk!! I'm done with Lowrance after my experience trying to get help with my H20 cord AND unit. Their customer service is horrid.
