LMITOUT
I suppose us little people can start talking about FFB now that the mega-millionaires got their finances in order. So, who's going to be your draft pick if you get lucky #1?
james_walleye
I haven't thought about it really but Arian Foster will be high on my list......
LMITOUT
I snagged him last year a few rounds after taking Chris Johnson at #1, thinking I had a potential scoring machine between the two of them. Well, one of them worked out but it wasn't the guy from the 1st round. Oh, what might have been... Good riddance Jeff Fisher.
goblueM
I got Foster in the 6th round last August... guess that won't happen anymore Foster or Aaron Rodgers or Mike Vick would be my 3 choices
zamboni
Last year it was Johnson if I had #1, this year I would swing back to AP. Coming off a great year, and regardless of who is behind center, he is going to get a ton of touches this year- rarely hurt, and often good. thatoneguy
I got Foster in the 6th round last August... guess that won't happen anymore Foster or Aaron Rodgers or Mike Vick would be my 3 choices QB is an extremely deep position; I wouldn't consider taking one anywhere in round one, let alone with the first pick. Peterson is in the mix for sure; hard to say about Foster with his limited resume, but he was awesome last year. CJ had a tough last season, but should bounce back. I'd be happy with any of those three. I won my money league last year, so I pick last in the first round this year...still fun to speculate about who will go first though. mrklean
i have not bought into Vick, personally i think hes gonna flop this year. Peterson has been a pretty safe bet, i think Foster will have another good season but not near what he did last year and Johnson will have 1,500 this year
MuleShack
Last year it was Johnson if I had #1, this year I would swing back to AP. Coming off a great year, and regardless of who is behind center, he is going to get a ton of touches this year- rarely hurt, and often good. Seeing how McKinnie is getting those major work outs with the williams sisters, he should be more fleet of foot in pass blocking and opening up holes for AP As you can see I am having a hard time with it. Being serious, I think AP should have a good solid year, especially if he gets his deal reworked and is happy.
LMITOUT
Good luck to Peterson this year. The Vikings' O-line is non-existent, along with the rest of the offense, and the fumble meter will be working overtime to keep up.
zamboni
He seemed to have gotten a cure for fumbleitis last year, of course none of them games hinged on a super bowl appearance. He will still have a solid year, the lines no worse than it was last year and he did great. Foster, Hillis won't have the same seasons they did last year
FISHINGURU
I'll be taking AP, Flukester won't have another season like last year, only the best stay consistant. Peterson has been that, no one else has.
Getanet
I've just started thinking about it this week. I think I'm going with AP for a few reasons:1) He's a consistent fantasy performer and a pretty safe pick2) Frazier played on those Walter Payton teams and shortly after getting hired talked about one of the main changes you'll see with his coaching philosophy is riding AP more this year3) Yeah, I'll admit it, the fact he's a Viking doesn't hurt. Why not having a little more excitement every time he hits paydirt?
FISHINGURU
Also ticks you off like no other when you have him on your team and there's a bunch of horrid play calls instead of just pounding the rock when your in the red zone.
ted4887
What, you don't like 3 consecutive passive when your on the 5 yard line? I'm really gonna miss Chilly.Any of you guys do a keeper league?
MuleShack
You can't keep AP down, you can only hand cuff him.:chillycred:
crothmeier
mike vick. he takes up one roster spot, and scores for two positions. QB and RB.
LMITOUT
Buyer beware:Quote:Texans tailback Arian Foster, the NFL’s leading rusher in 2010, has seen his quest for a repeat derailed temporarily via a pulled hamstring.Per Dale Robertson of the Houston Chronicle, Foster suffered the injury on a 40-yard touchdown run during the first play of an 11-on-11 scrimmage. It was Foster’s first practice since signing a one-year exclusive rights tender offer on Sunday.Foster showed up later in the day with the leg heavily wrapped. james_walleye
It's no fluke he did what he did within that offense.
whitebassman
Had number 2 pick in one my my drafts. Foster went 1 and I chose AP. I think he's going to have a great year, especially with fumblitis having been cured. Sounds like the new OC is going to be run heavy, and Hutch won't have to babysit Mckinnie. Plus, no more stupid zone blocking scheme this year.
FISHINGURU
It's no fluke he did what he did within that offense. We'll have to wait and see, if he doesn't do it again it's a fluke.

Tip Up Rookie
Chris Johnson is my pick, If hasselbeck can stay healthy, he is an upgrade at QB - something he didnt have last year - provided he ends his holdout!
MuleShack
AP was looking pretty good in camp on Friday...just sayin
