archery magazine-is there such a thing

as a good magazine out there that you look forward to getting. Seems to me most of those on news stand are chunk. Would like to subscribe to one that has a little substance about equipment mixed in with some good hunting trips. I wonder if any exists?

I've been getting Bowhunter for a couple years now. It seems pretty decent. I'm not sure what kind of substance you're looking for but I've read some interesting stuff in a buddy's Traditional Bowhunter mag.

If that's the angle you're looking for there's also TradArcher's World and Primitive Archer.

Which one(s) have you looked at that you're not impressed with?

I think there are dozens of archery magazines out there, I'm not really sure which has the substance you are looking for but there are plenty to pick from.

I grew up in a house full of bowhunting magazines. Bowhunting, Peterson's, Bowhunter, etc. I now get Eastman's Bowhunting Journal and it's one that I really enjoy. It's primarily geared towards the "Western hunter", so most articles are about elk, mule deer, and pronghorn, so if that's not your cup of tea, it's probably not for you. I sure enjoy it though...

bowhunting world is a good one, Petersons is another there are a lot out there hit up wally world they have 4 or 5 different magazines there you could look at
