Brand of sunscreen that doesn't run into your eyes

cover yourself in olive oil, if nothing else you will taste good when basted. I am in the AZ sun all day long and have not found one that will not run nor stay on once the sweat starts. I just buy cheap ole no name spf40 and avoid getting it on my forehead or near my eyes. i wear a hard hat so it does yield some shade but also is like wearing a plastic oven. try putting a maxi pad on the liner of your cap, I know it is going to get the "what the heck" but we have guys that do it and dont have sweat in their eyes. I can deal with the sweat.

As a former lifeguard, I'm a firm believer in Coppertone Sport (30 SPF) as the best sunscreen out there. I judge this mostly on how I feel when I wear it (pretty comfortable, not sticky etc) and how many times I've gotten sunburned even with other brands. If you sweat into your eyes, you will get salt and sunscreen in 'em no matter what brand you use, but Coppertone Sport runs less than Banana Boat or other brands I've tried.

The best thing you can do is wear a hat and/or bandana to catch any sweat. If you have a wide brimmed hat and can get away with it, just don't sunscreen directly above your eyes.

Sombrero my friend. The Mexicans know how to do it right.

I use the Target-brand sprays and they don't run into my eyes when I'm playing sports. But if that's a serious problem for you you might consider one of those 80s-style head bands or just a wide-brimmed hat.

I try not to put sun screen around my eyes and rely on my hat.

This is the best way to do things. You really don't need much around your eyes as your aversion response should keep direct sunlight away from your eyes enough that you won't burn.

+1 for Bullfrog. The gel is great for the kids. The spray is handy for all over protection. They make a stick that is the CLEAR ticket for the cheeks, bridge of nose, ears, etc. I have them in the tackle bag, the boat, the truck and any place I might need it.

the key is to get a "sport" version of sunscreen. any kind marked for this use will sting less or not at all when you sweat in your eye. I use this exclusivley when riding a bicycle or motorcycle.
